Applications are now open for the MAAHMG 2022 Youth Curator Program! The Youth Curator Program will engage high school students in discovering the craft of museum curation. During the program, participants will engage in research, interviews, photography and art. The cohort of students will produce a museum-quality exhibition. The program will have two components that will result in a history exhibition and an art exhibition, both created by the students which will be displayed at the museum.
Our goal is to give youth an opportunity to learn about museum curation, enhance research, communication and writing skills. We will be accepting 12 students, who will each be given a $400 stipend for completion of the program. Participants will meet once a week on Saturdays during 3-hour sessions for 10 weeks from June 4 to August 6, 2022.
