Join us Saturday mornings from 10 am to 11:30 am for our children's literacy and reading circle. Children (up to age 8) can hear stories read by local authors and volunteers. Other activities will include songs, puppets and more.

Local authors who have volunteered at the Children's Reading Circle: M. Ann Pritchard, author of "Phil the Pill," Dr. Artika Tyner,author of "Joey and Grandpa Johnson's Day in Rondo," Habso Mohamud, author of "It Only Takes One Yes!," Ericka Dennis, author of "Mr. Rondo's Spirit," Maya Marchelle, author of "Hey Pretty," Timi Bliss, author of "In Search of the Sandman," Sammie Joseph-Fredericks author of Grandma's Special Gift, and Donna Gingery, author of "Red's Adventures: The Egg Pie."

An In Black Ink Book Presentation and Discussion - February 21, 2020 6pm

The book is edited by Elder Mahmoud El-Kati and features 10 contributing writers such as Dr. Josie Johnson, Mary K. Boyd, Dr. Rose Brewer, Gevonee Ford, Eric Mahmoud, Ahmed Azzahir, and several others. All are welcome.
