Verlena Flournoy Matey-Keke is the lead historian for the Dr. Martin Luther King Park Legacy Council in South Minneapolis. She is a DNA-certified returnee to her country of origin, Cameroon; and is a lifelong student of African American history.
Clarence Jones has been involved in community health engagement activities for more than 40 years. Semi-retired, he is currently engaged with Hue-MAN, University of Minnesota, his church, and other community boards.
Jack Rainey, Jr. worked in the architecture and design field for 30 years in California. A native of Minneapolis, he currently volunteers with the Minnesota Government Relations Advisory Committee (GRAC) and other non-profit organizations.
